The Association for Physical Education (afPE) National Conference 2016 will take place at St George’s Park, Burton on Trent on the 5th and 6th July, 2016.

This has been an exciting twelve months with physical education, school sport and physical activity high on everyone’s agenda.

The afPE national conference is critical for all physical education and school sport professionals working in the sector.

afPE recognises that everyone must work together to ensure that all staff, governors, parents and pupils understand the differences between PE, school sport and physical activity and that they are not in competition but together create a whole picture of physical and emotional well being.

This year afPE has aimed to continue to give value for money, added value, accessibility, quality and relevant content that will ‘make a difference in the classroom’.

afPE claims that by attending you will be able to access cutting-edge developments, innovative thinking and developmental resources, and engage in professional discussion, sharing and networking.

The conference offers several opportunities to network and socialise with physical education and school sport colleagues, the private and public sector as well as key stakeholders, civil servants, NGBs and sport professionals.
