Sleep and Performance: Time to wake up! Free Webinar

Sleep and Performance

Sleep and performance have become a prominent area of interest. How much should an athlete sleep? Is there a model to schedule training and travel to optimise sleep and performance? Do wearables work? All this and much more was answered by sleep and performance expert Dr Ian C Dunican in this webinar.

Sleep and performance in sport

Recent research in sport has started to explore factors affecting sleep in athletes and also the implications for performance and injury. However, the research on sleep in athletes is in its infancy and the research in other industries is more comprehensive. Therefore, we’re honoured to have Ian present to us, his work and understanding of this area that precedes research in sport and calls on his experience in the military, mining and with other industries.

Recorded on: Wednesday 18th April 2018
