Pudsey gets 10% of book sales

Children in Needs masthead

Between now and November 30th 2009, 10% of the value of all sales of books and DVDs ordered direct from Human Kinetics Europe quoting the promotional code PUDSEY will be donated to the BBC’s Children in Need appeal.

Most people in the United Kingdom are only aware of Pudsey Bear around this time of the year when the BBC’s television appeal hits the airwaves, yet the people who live and work in Pudsey are aware of this famous little bear most of the year round.

That includes the staff at Human Kinetics Europe whose offices and warehouse are located in this tiny West Yorkshire town, sandwiched between Leeds and Bradford,

But what’s the connection between the town and the bear? Well Pudsey Bear was designed and named by Joanna Ball, a graphic artist, for the BBC who is Pudsey born and bred and whose grandfather, Alderman Irvine Ball, was a past Mayor of the Borough

So in honour of this famous character we are making this donation but remember you must quote the code PUDSEY when ordering to help this worthy cause.

We have tried to keep terms and conditions to a minimum on this, but it is necessary to state that this 10% offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupons, offers or discounts.
