Each year, millions of individuals worldwide become coaches, yet despite their prevalence and influence, and the expectations placed on them, a systematic global effort to ensure coaches’ preparation for their posts is just taking shape.
The International Sport Coaching Framework. is an adaptable platform for that movement, providing a common language and set of principles about coaching on which the worldwide sport community can agree.
Created by the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE), the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF), and Leeds Metropolitan University (LMU), the Framework represents a significant step toward establishing consensus.
