The International Society for Posture and Gait Research is holding its XIX Biennial Conference in Bologna, Italy.

The meeting will be chaired by Lorenzo Chiari, of the University of Bologna and Antonio Nardone, of the University of Eastern Piedmont and Salvatore Maugeri Foundation.

The Society provides a multidisciplinary forum for basic and clinical scientists and holds regular meetings in order to present and discuss the latest research and clinical findings regarding the control of posture, gait and related disorders.

This is done to facilitate interaction between members who meet from all over the globe in order to promote the broad discipline of posture and gait research.

The Society is holding its International Conference in Italy for the first time and more than 500 participants in the areas of neuroscience, biomedical engineering, geriatrics, rehabilitation and kinesiology are expected to attend.
