Sports medicine – all you always wanted to know but never dared ask

THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF MEDICINE
‘Sports medicine – all you always wanted
to know but never dared ask’
University Hospital Education Centre, Bristol.

Friday 24 September 2010

The event will present a comprehensive and up to date overview of some of the most common injuries and clinical problems in sports medicine today.

The aim being to provide those clinicians that encounter patients with sports injuries /issues in their day to day practice (for example in Primary Care or in the Emergency Department / Minor Injuries Unit) to have a better understanding of diagnosis and management in this sphere of clinical practice.

The day will also offer a series of invaluable insights to those who end up on the touchline of sports events as an enthusiastic amateur Sports Medicine care provider (e.g. the Medical parent who gets co-opted as team doctor for their off-springs sports team).
