This year’s Conference will be held at University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) on 3rd to 5th September 2013 and will take as its theme “New Direction in Sport and Exercise Sciences: What are the next steps”.

As usual, there will be an exciting programme of Keynote lectures on the new directions in both research and applied practice in the areas of sport, exercise and physical activity.

Keynote speakers include Prof Peter Cavanagh, University of Washington, Dr Rod Corban, High-Performance Sport New Zealand, Dr Henning Wackerhage, University of Aberdeen and Prof Stella Volpe, Drexel University, Philadelphia and HK author of Fitness Nutrition for Special Dietary Needs.

At the same time, there will be a series of parallel symposia, aimed at assessing the effectiveness of current sport, exercise and physical activity interventions, led by experts in their respective fields.

In the Exhibition area, the Human Kinetics stand will be displaying an assortment of new releases and popular titles covering the whole field of Sport and Exercise Sciences and available at generous “Event Discounts”.
