This year’s Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) Student Conference is being held at the University of Winchester from 20th-21st May 2017. This conference aims to give a platform for undergraduate, postgraduate and early career researchers in the field of sport psychology to present their work, meet other researchers and attend talks and workshops.
The AASP was founded in 1986 and is an international organisation that promotes the development of science and ethical practice in the field of sport psychology.
This year’s themes include the psychology of sport performance, psychology of exercise and health, motor learning and skill acquisition, leadership and pedagogy and psychophysiology and neuropsychology.
Dr Costas Karageorghis, author of Applying Music in Exercise and Sport and Inside Sport Psychology will be speaking at the conference on 21st May.
