The Youth Sport Trust is busy gearing up for its annual celebration of the benefits of being active — National School Sport Week (NSSW).
This year’s event will take place from the 20-24 June at schools up and down the country.
Millions of young people and thousands of primary and secondary schools have already taken part in the event since it first started in 2008
As ever, the weeklong campaign will be hoping to help teachers inspire young people to get more physically active.
The theme for this year’s event is inclusive sport and the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Time is running out but it’s still not too late to sign up. By doing so, you’ll receive resources and hints and tips on encouraging your pupils to take part in PE and school sport.
