World Congress of Cycling Science

Professional CyclistThe University of Kent is holding a two day residential conference titled the ‘World Congress of Cycling Science 2014’ at Leeds Metropolitan University on 2nd and 3rd July, ahead of the Tour de France Grand Départ.

The event will be followed by Leeds Metropolitan University’s ‘A Celebration of British Cycling’ – a day of Tour de France themed talks and events, including a question and answer session with past Tour de France riders.

Organised by leading sport scientists at the University of Kent and endorsed by the Union Cycliste International (UCI), the ‘World Congress of Cycling Science 2014’ will include an exhibition at the Rose Bowl, a gala dinner and a public symposium, which will give the general public an opportunity to put their questions to experts about the science behind the Tour de France.

Human Kinetics will have a stand at both these events and delegates and visitors will be able to purchase many of our cycling and coaching title at 25% off the normal price.
