Join authors Lauren Lieberman and Cathy Houston-Wilson for a free webinar detailing strategies for inclusion in physical education (PE).
This webinar is being given by the authors of the upcoming book, Strategies for Inclusion, 3rd Edition, Lauren Lieberman and Cathy Houston-Wilson. Both authors currently work at the College at Brockport, State University of New York. This free webinar entitled Strategies for Inclusion takes place on Wednesday 25th October at 3pm BST.
About the webinar
This webinar will help you understand the concept of Universal Design for Learning. Plus, how using this system makes all children feel included in PE. The presenters will also present information on the role of assessment, placement and specific modifications to accommodate all children in a variety of settings. They will also discuss how to use an Inclusion Rating Scale to determine if your programme works for teaching students with unique needs. More inclusion strategies can also be found in our recent blog post Teaching PE to students with autism, a comprehensive approach.
