The International Conference of Qualitative Research in Sport and Exercise is taking place at the University of Chichester from the 30th August-1st September. It’s dedicated to providing cutting edge advancements in qualitative research methods. The areas covered at the event include sports psychology, sociology of sport and physical culture, sport history, physical education and pedagogy, sports medicine and sport management and policy.
We’re extremely pleased to announce the new Case Studies in Sport and Exercise Psychology (CSSEP) journal has been jointly published by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and Human Kinetics, and features studies and input from UK-based contributors. The journal are currently accepting submission for the upcoming issue.
Danny Willet has become the first British champion of the Masters for 20 years, the last being Nick Faldo in 1996. With the general rejoicing of Willett’s victory, it’s all too easy to forget those for whom the tournament didn’t turn out quite so well. Spare a thought, if you will, for former world number one, Ernie Els who endured nightmarish first hole at this year’s tournament. It took poor Ern nine shots at the par four (including six putts!).
